We’ll depart at 8:30 a.m. from a designated pick-up location and head south to a fascinating and enchanting The Rock Garden.
The Rock Garden is located in Gordon County just outside of Calhoun city limits. Here you will find whimsical and artful grounds with over 50 replicas of world- famous structures made from small stones and miniature crafted figurines.
The city of Jerusalem, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Roman Colosseum are just a few of the intriguing structures you experience up close. The Garden is nestled along a creek and offers exceptional photo opportunities. If you feel like a short hike, a one-mile loop takes you up the side of a shaded hill and back down to an area of the creek where young kids love to play.
Next, we’ll take a short hop over to Copper Creek Farm’s Sunflower Festival. This unique farm features an incredibly beautiful field of large sunflowers and other colorful wildflowers, along with a barnyard full of fun activities.
Present your Lookout Limousine laminated ticket for festival admission. If you would like to hand-pick a souvenir bucket full of fresh cut sunflowers, you can pay $10 at the entrance. Get ready to take sunflower photographs and experience a Hayride, Pig Races, Duck Races, Animated Chicken Show, Barn Loft Slide, Corn Box, Sunflower Box, Pony Maze, Bunnyville, Giant Jumping Pillow, Milking Cow, Petting Barn, Steer Roping, Hillbilly Splash Pad, Mechanical Bull, Monster Pumpkin & Watermelon Cannon, Music and so much more! By the time we are done you will have worked up an appetite!
Our next stop will be Bowman’s Restaraunt, featuring a vast variety of good ol’ down-to-earth southern cooking! Chef Katherine Bowman will delight your taste buds with fresh from the garden vegetables as well as meats from of her farm. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.
From here you will be ready to kick back in the luxury of your own captain’s seat aboard the Sprinter Limousine and take a nap or enjoy conversation with your neighbor about the day’s activities as we head back to Chattanooga.
Tickets are $70.00 per person and include your admission into the Copper Creek Farm as well as luxurious round-trip travel in a high-top limousine with captain seats. Fare does not include the price of lunch.
